Page Setup

The Page Setup dialog allows you to specify page printing parameters, choose physical page size and orientation.  

To call the Page Setup dialog, select the File | Page Setup menu item.

The Page Setup dialog consist of several tabs, each of which is described in details below.

Page

This tab allows you to specify physical page parameters.

 

Portrait 

"Vertical" physical page orientation.

 Landscape

"Horizontal" physical page orientation.

Page size

Drop-down menu with list of standard page sizes. Choose necessary to change a physical page size.

 Margins 

This tab allows you to tune page margin and distances.

All sizes are in millimeters.

 

Top 

Sets the distance between the top of a page and the top of a page header field.

Header 

Sets the header height.

 Left

Sets the distance between the left edge of a page and the left edge of a diagram.

 Right

Sets the distance between the right edge of a page and the right edge of a diagram.

 Bottom

Sets the distance between the bottom and the bottom of a page footer field.

 Footer

Sets the footer height.

 Horizontally

Enable this option to horizontally align the content to a page center.

 Vertically

Enable this option to vertically align the content to a page center. 

Header/Footer

This tab allows you to specify the header and footer content, which will be displayed on each printed page.

You can select the header and footer content from the appropriate lists of predefined templates.

Click on the Header drop-down list to select the content template for a page header.

Click on the Footer drop-down list to select the content template for a page footer.

There are the following content templates:

  • Page 1. Shows the current page number
  • Page 1 from ?. Shows the current page number and total pages number.
  • Author; Page 1; Date. Shows the diagram author's name, the current page number, the diagram modification date. This information will be received from General Diagram Properties.
  • Prepared: Author   Date   Page. Shows the author name, the diagram modification date, the current page number. This information will be received from General Diagram Properties.

Select {none} to disable printing header/footer content.
