Database

Database is an virtual diagram object, that can be used during the physical database generation. By using it, you can set several basic parameters for the new database, such as database name, default encoding and so on.

You can find this object interesting if you want to create a new database. You may skip this section if you have an already created physical database and only want to generate a structure.

If you enable generation of database object, the CREATE DATABASE... statement will be included in the result of Database Generation function.

To set up the database object use Database Editor.
