Web Pages

DBACentral for MySQL allows you to create php-based web pages for viewing and editing MySQL data through web. You can create design web forms with tables, input controls, images, etc. using WSIWYG designer, edit HTML source directly, select preferable interface from several pre-defined templates, view the result page data directly within the application, and perform a lot of other actions, which will make your MySQL/PHP development much easier and faster.

DBACentral web-pages provide several unique features, which are absent in any other PHP script generator: creating pages from GUI forms, using stored relationships in viewing and editing data, displaying BLOB-fields as images in the result page, and many more.

DBACentral profile stores web pages in separate files. The list of links to these files can be viewed and modified at the Web Pages Page of the Main Profile Window.

You can create a new web-page in several ways:

  1. Create a new editable web form in Design View by double-clicking at the Create web form in design view item on the Web Pages profile window page.
  2. Create a new web data grid in Design View by double-clicking at the Create web grid in design view item on the Web Pages profile window page.
  3. Create a new page from the already existing .php or .html file using the Page Designer by double-clicking at the Create web page from file item on the Web Pages profile window page.
  4. Create a new page using the Page Wizard by double-clicking at the Create web page by using wizard item on the Web Pages profile window page.
  5. Creating an auto-page from the Main Profile Window (TablesViews or Forms page) by selecting the Auto Page item from the popup menu.

To open the existing page for viewing or modifying data, simply double-click at its name on the Web Pages profile window page.

To change the page design select its name at the Web Pages page and click the Design button on the toolbar or in the popup menu. This opens the Page Designer, allowing you to add or delete form controls, modify control properties, edit HTML page source, and so on.

To delete a page from the profile, select its name at the Pages page and click the Delete button on the toolbar or in the popup menu.
