User Wizard

The User Wizard allows you to create server users in a fast and convenient way, guiding you step by step through the process of defining user privileges and options. To run the wizard double-click the Create user by using wizard within the Profile Window | Users page.

The first step of the wizard allows you to set the user name and select access type of the new user. This selection determines the further step of the wizard, allowing you to select either databases, tables, or tables and columns, accessible for the user.

This step allows you to select objects, accessible by the user, depending on the access type you have selected on the first step.

The next step allows you to set the access privileges for the selected objects, and specify the password for the new user.

The following step is intended for defining advanced privileges and properties for the new user.

The final step of the wizard allows you to select the action to perform after the creation and displays information about the creation errors, if such occur.

Select Open the user in design mode to open the User Designer after the form is created. To close the wizard without any action after creating the user, select the Take no action item.

To create the user with all the parameters you have set, click the Finish button.
