Tables in Profile Window

The Tables page of the Profile Window allows you to view the list of tables available in the database and provides various functions for working with these tables.

Double-click on a table name opens the table in Data Grid View, allowing you to view and modify table data. To edit table structure - fields, indexes and options, right-click on a table name and select the Design item from the right-click popup menu, or click the Design button on the window toolbar. These actions open the selected table in the Design View.

The first three items of the list allow you to create a new table using one of the available methods: by designing a table, by using a wizard, or by importing table structure and data.

The Details view mode additionally displays the table type and description for each table in the list.

The popup menu of the Tables page provides the following function in addition to those described in the Profile Window.

Open in new window	Opens the table data for viewing and modification in a separate Data Grid window.
Export...	Opens the Data Export Wizard for exporting table data into one of the available formats.
Access Permissions...	Opens the Table Access Editor dialog for setting up user permissions for the selected table.
Auto Form	Automatically creates a simple form for the selected table.
Auto Query	Automatically creates a simple query for the selected table.
