Use Server Monitor to view and manage the properties of the selected
server. To open the Server Monitor window select the Tools | Server Monitor
menu item.
The Server Monitor contains four pages. The Processes
page allows you to view the list of all processes, currently executed on
the server. The Status page provides server status information (like
mysqladmin
extended-status). The Variables page displays the list of all server variables and their values. The InnoDB Status page is available only for MySQL v4.0 and higher and it displays the InnoDB status information.

The toolbar buttons allow you to refresh the current page content (Refresh),
stop the selected process (Kill - only for Processes
page), check the connection to the MySQL server (Ping),
and stop the server (Shutdown).
The Refresh Rate box specifies the interval (in seconds) in which
the current page is being automatically refreshed. The Disconnect
button allows you to break the current connection, and the Connect
button allows you to select the new server monitoring.
