Saving Database Profile

You can save all changes you made to the profile for future use: connection properties, profile queries, forms, etc. This will make your work with MySQL much easier and quicker.

You can save a profile by choosing either the Save or Save As commands from the File menu. DBACentral for MySQL saves the profile by generating a specially formatted file (with the .mypf extension) that contains all profile properties and sub-objects.

If you are saving a profile for the first time, use the Save command to provide a name and location for the profile file. Profile file names must meet the requirements of a standard Windows file name.

If you are saving a profile which was already saved before, use the Save command to replace the file contents or the Save As command to save the profile with a new name or location.
