The DBACentral for MySQL user interface has been designed to provide you convenience and flexibility for performing your database management tasks.
The following picture shows the organization of the main window elements.
- This is the basic element of the DBACentral interface - Main Profile Window. It allows you to work with the profile database: design its tables, manage table data, create database queries and forms, and many more. The Profile Window opens on creating a new profile or opening the existing profile.
- The Task Pane provides basic functions for starting your work in DBACentral. This pane also allows you to organize your profile links for quicker access to the selected profiles, and get help and on-line support on the product. The Task Pane opens automatically on startup. You can hide or show this panel using the View | Task Pane item of the main menu.
- The SQL Log is a powerful tool for monitoring all SQL statements executed within DBACentral for MySQL. It makes every program operation "transparent" - you can always see what really happens on your server. To display the SQL Log pane use the View | SQL Log item.
