Import External Profile

The Import Profile Wizard allows you to import queries, forms, relationships, and domains from external profile file into the currently open profile. To run the wizard select the File | Import External Profile menu item.

 

 

The first step of the wizard allows you to select the file name of the imported profile.

 

The next step provides the tree view of all imported profile objects: queries, forms, relationships, and domains.

 

 

Click the check boxes to select the appropriate objects or groups for importing into the current profile. Be attentive when selecting objects, because some queries and forms may not work correctly if tables are not identical in source and target profile databases.

 

When you are done, click Finish to start import.
