Functions in Profile Window

The Functions page of the Profile Window allows you to view the list of stored functions available in the database and provides various features for working with these functions.

Note, that stored functions are available only for MySQL 5.0 or higher.

Double-click on a function name opens the following dialog window:

It allows you to specify values for the input parameters, execute the function, and view the result value.

To edit the function parameters and body, right-click on a function name and select the Design item from the right-click popup menu, or click the Design button on the window toolbar. These actions open the selected function in the Design View.

The first item of the list allows you to create a new function in design view.
